Strategy with heart.

Coming alongside leaders to build the plan and support for the vision they carry.

About Brooke

For over 20 years, Brooke kept finding herself at the intersection of complex social issues, care for the people doing the work, and rapid organizational growth.

Her perspective and leadership was honed across very different seasons and experiences: building programming to support kids in post-genocide Rwanda through a growing international nonprofit, becoming a foster parent, leading Every Child Oregon from a Portland-based effort into a statewide—then multi-state—movement. And then, leading through a season of rapid growth as the COO at Bridge Meadows where she strengthened and shifted culture while building the infrastructure to hold it. Across every chapter, her conviction was strengthened. Turning a good idea into something real takes more than vision. It takes the operating rhythms, consensus, and systems to carry it.

These experiences left her with a growing desire to come alongside leaders directly: the ones shaping outcomes for the most vulnerable in our communities. Having experienced firsthand how coaching and a Focus Lab sharpened her own leadership, Brooke founded Grayscale Strategies (and trained as a Focus Lab facilitator in 2026) to give leaders that same clarity, support, and thought partnership, so the hope they carry has a real plan behind it.

Everything she does is focused on the vision leaders carry and the people counting on them to carry it well.

Brooke lives in Vancouver, WA with her high school sweetheart, their son, and an exchange student who is a permanent fixture in their family. Together, they share a love of adventure, hospitality, community, faith, travel, cooking, and the great outdoors.
